- We do not share your identity or work with any third party, except the handling editor(s).
- Upon request, we are happy to sign a confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement.
- All files and related data are permanently deleted from our systems after project completion.
- We do not collect or store personal or financial information.
- We do not claim authorship, copyright, or intellectual input in any document edited by us.
Our Confidentiality
- For professional and operational reasons, we do not disclose the identity or personal details of our editors.
- Requests to assign or reassign specific editors cannot be accommodated.
2. Terms of Service
- Once a project is accepted, it cannot be cancelled or retracted. Payment is due upon delivery unless otherwise agreed.
- Standard turnaround time is 3–7 business days for documents under 10,000 words. Longer projects may require additional time—please contact us for scheduling.
- Refunds are processed only in accordance with our refund policy.
- Payment must be made within 14 days of delivery. Please inform us in advance if an extension is needed.
- In rare cases of unavoidable delay, clients will be notified. You may choose to withdraw the assignment if notified in advance.
- Only the first version of a submitted document will be processed. Subsequent modifications will be treated as new submissions.
- For documents exceeding 10,000 words: – Either 50% advance payment is required, or – Submit the document in sections of ≤10,000 words, with each section processed upon payment for the previous one.
- We offer free re-editing only if an article edited by us (without post-edit modifications) is rejected by a journal solely for language issues.
- If any content is modified by the author(s) after our editing, subsequent re-editing will be charged as a new job.
3. Disclaimer
- While we aim for editorial excellence, individual preferences among reviewers or editors may vary.
- We assume that all manuscripts submitted are the original work of the author(s). Any issues of plagiarism or copyright infringement are the sole responsibility of the author(s).
- Clarity Crafters is not liable for any scientific inaccuracies in the content submitted. Our services are strictly limited to language editing.
- We do not guarantee publication, funding, or academic approval (e.g., thesis acceptance) based on our services.
- We reserve the right to decline service to any client, without the obligation to provide a reason.
- Journal names (e.g., Nature, Science, Cell, PNAS, etc.) mentioned on our website are the sole property of their respective publishers. Clarity Crafters is not affiliated with any of these journals.
- Information provided about formatting or editing for specific journals is based solely on author instructions.
- Some names and profiles displayed on our “Our Editors” page have been modified or pseudonymized for commercial confidentiality.
